Grant Amounts: between $8000 to $20,000 USD

Technical Assistance: We are human ecologists, social scientists, and farmers, specializing in creative communications that support direct actions. We are also experienced agroecological marketers. We bring a breadth and depth of skills and experience to support your agroecological transition. We can come alongside to work with your knowledge and expertise and together identify which of our services best fit your goals.
As a Private Operating Foundation we provide grants for your agroecological activities, as well as technical support. Our process of application helps ensure a good fit between your funding needs and the types of additional support that IR can offer.
Some examples of our support:
Narrative Framing Our work together involves creating "value webs," a participatory activity and tool to help reclaim, revitalize, and innovate with food stories embedded in community and place. Read more about how Value Web activities can dynamically boost agroecological transitions here.
Market Localization We can help explore benefits and processes of visioning and creating markets as realms of "thick ties", based in solidarity and circularity, and work together to amplify the role they play in greater social and ecological sustainability.
Documentary Production We offer documentary video production for supporting knowledge exchange, building networking opportunities, and advancing a vision.
Send us an email introducing your project and we can start a conversation.
Our engagements can be targeted and brief or more involved.
